The project of the Palestinian Specialized Center for Learning Difficulties is considered the first of its kind in Palestine, in monitoring and treating learning difficulties, distraction disorder, and hyperactivity. It works in an integrated and comprehensive manner for all tasks related to learning difficulties, such as studies, research, diagnosis, treatment, awareness, and training, in cooperation and partnership with all segments of society that are related to children. Such as schools, kindergartens, universities, educational, social and health centres, and relevant ministries such as the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Development. Cooperation agreements were signed between the Rawan Association and these ministries, and what the Association is doing and has done for more than fourteen years in the aforementioned fields was approved.

The general goal of the project is to build a specialized national center for the diagnosis and treatment of children with learning difficulties, disorder, distraction, and hyperactivity for ages 3-18. The necessary licenses are available.

This program is based on the concept of planning and implementing a building for the association that contains all the consultations and qualified centers for children who suffer from learning difficulties, where all the documents, plans, and divisions of the center have been completed and prepared, as it has a section with specific spaces specially designed for all qualified departments and rooms, as well as offices, archives, and others.

The finishing of the association’s headquarters will be carried out in close cooperation with the funding body, local communities, Palestinian local and official bodies, and local community representatives to ensure appropriate implementation.
